Homes With RV Garage Plans and RV Planned Communities
We just got back from a trip to central Florida and I noticed that RV sales are huge in Florida. We saw RV sales lot after RV sales lot everywhere we went.
This lead me to think back regarding the article about RV garage house plans that I posted previously and that maybe — just maybe — there might be some homes in the area to accommodate these behemoth RVs that (mostly) retired folks are buying.
Well, I was right. There are plenty of RV communities. Some have RV garages built in. Others have an RV pad near the driveway. Here are 2 examples:
RV Communities On The Rise
I even spotted a billboard advertising one, and I repeated the web site address to myself enough times to eventually remember it. (How pathetic is that?)
When we finally arrived back at our villa, I hit the Mt. Olive Shores North web address and there it was. A community specifically marketed towards RVers with home plans to match. It’s an entire community with RV garages, carports, and at least one thing in common among everyone living there.
RV garage home communities have much to offer those who have been planning their retirements around hitting the road on a semi-permanent basis in their very own RV or motorcoach.
TIP: Consider investing in RV communities because the baby boomers are on the way to Florida! Arizona is another state that has a good number of RV garage home communities.
I thought that today’s high gas prices would have curtailed these luxury items, but you wouldn’t know it if you were driving around the Orlando area.
We went coast-to-coast (Gulf-to-Atlantic) during our stay in Florida and I was amazed at the sheer number of recreational vehicles sales lots that existed in such a relatively small geographical area — and they offer huge selections to choose from.
